About us

How we came to Mas Du Loup Quercy

Wendy and Dominic arrived in 2017 from London. Dominic ran mental health projects in England for 30 years, Wendy is a medical PR specialist from the U.S. Both have lived and worked in different countries, but we both fell in love with the beautiful Quercy Blanc area of the Lot valley, in South West France. We have a passion for food, culture and sustainability, which is why we wanted to renovate this old farmhouse and converted barn, providing a holiday cottage, and meals for people from far and wide – showcasing the wonderful local produce, food and wine, which is so rich and varied in this part of the world. As part of this we want to offer a welcoming and relaxing holiday destination – hosting local food experiences and serving food sourced from our smallholding, including our home-made charcuterie, from the rare local breed Gascon Noir pigs, which we plan to raise here alongside goats and chickens.
