Independent Holiday Cottage; “Gite”
The renovated barn is over 200 years old. It has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and can sleep up to 6 adults. A lovely swimming pool, for your exclusive use, is just outside the kitchen – with open views out over the Quercy Blanc of rolling hills of white stone, vineyards and little oak trees.
- Bedroom 1: King size bed, option to bring in small folding bed and/or crib
- Bedroom 2: 2 single beds which can be joined to form a super king
- Bathroom 1: Bath with shower, toilet, x2 sinks
- Bathroom 2: Walk in shower, x1 sink
- WC: toilet and sink
- Lounge: has a convertible sofa with a Sealy orthopaedic mattress to make a double bed
- Kitchen-diner: large space with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, oven and induction hob, and dining table and chairs accomodating 6 people
It is equipped with all you need: satellite television, hair dryer, wi-fi, crib/cot, air conditioning/heating, washing machine, BBQ and more!
All linens, including bath and pool towels are provided.
Low Season
Jan to Mar, Nov to Dec- Check in and departure on any day, dependent on availability
Mid Season
Apr to mid-Jun, Sep to Oct- Check in and departure on any day, dependent on availability
High Season
Mid-Jun to Aug- Check in and departure on any day, dependent on availability
Note: Check-in 3pm, check-out 11am. During low and mid season the cottage can be rented on a nightly basis, with a minimum of four nights @ €190/night. We request a damage deposit of €250 due ahead of arrival, to be refunded within 10 days of departure.
Feed me!
If you like, we are very happy to provide the occasional breakfast and/or dinner. We need at least 24 hours’ notice.
Breakfast will vary based on the season/availability and may include our house made bacon and sausages, fresh fruit, pastries, home-made sourdough bread, jams and home made goats milk yoghurt.
Dinner is three courses (starter, main and dessert) and is be based on the traditional cooking of the region.
Breakfast is €14 per person and Dinner is €30 per person and includes 2 glasses of wine.

The Local Area
We are perfectly situated just south of the beautiful city of Cahors, right on the edge of the Causses de Quercy Natural Park, near the Black Truffle mecca of Lalbenque.
