Quercy Food Experiences

The Quercy Food Experience is a half day deep dive (no more than 5 people/experience) in to the local food and cuisine of the area for people who want to satisfy their cravings for authentic local insights that go beyond Google and the Rough Guide.

We start in the morning with a market visit where we will introduce you to local seasonal ingredients, provide some insights on how you can use these at home and have a chat with some of the local producers.  We then come back to our 18th century farmhouse where we will make lunch together – while discussing how you can apply the local approach to cooking to your own meals.  Depending on the season we can also harvest from our garden, collect some eggs and milk the goats…so you have a few treats to take away.

The whole experience is only €175/person, but we are offering an early booking discount for just €140 if you book before January 2019, this includes the opportunity to meet local producers, make and indulge in a lovely lunch, fill your head with knowledge and as a bonus you will get a set of recipes and fun local facts to take away with you.

Fill out the short form below to confirm a date and secure your place for a half day of tasty fun, nourishing both your brain and your body and satisfying both the intrepid traveller and curious foodie in you.

No previous knowledge or cooking skills required, and you don’t need to speak French – that is what we are here for!  The Quercy Food Experience is about having a fun time while digging into the local food lore and cuisine of this beautiful region that is a true representation of La France Profonde.
